In addition to our Four For The Future(TM) signature programs of Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment, 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc., a GuideStar Gold 501(3)(c) non-profit, has responsively launched the 100Cares Initiative and have partnered with the City of Oakland, our faith-based community leaders, Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, Act Full Gospel, Community Church, and Beebe Memorial as well as other community organizations such as OAACC, NAACP, BWOPA, and the East Oakland Black Cultural Zone to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within the unhoused population, and address food insecurities citywide. In addition, your support will go towards offering rental assistance to those facing eviction due to the effects of the pandemic.

Since the inception of our Scholarship Program in 1992, we have awarded $1,600,000 to more than 700 Bay Area students. This year we are investing over $100,000 towards our scholars’ post-secondary achievement. Our Scholarship Program is thriving and continues to receive local and national attention and your steadfast support is key to our success.
Donate Now to Health & Wellness
Youth Movement is a Bay Area-wide initiative that harnesses the talent and resources of a variety of community organizations and local agencies to promote youth health and fitness. Through this program, we continue to:
- Develop a model community-based fitness program for at-risk youth.
- Develop healthy eating habits among children in low-income communities.
- Provide mentoring to improve character development and increase academic success.
- Establish youth athletic clubs in low-income communities and revitalize Bay Area after-school youth fitness/athletic programs.
In addition, your support will help send our elite track and field team to the International Children’s Games where they compete against children from 95 countries each year. To date, our team, The Black Wings, has brought home over 25 medals.
Support the Scholarship Gala
Support the 32nd Annual Scholarship Benefit and Awards Virtual Gala. The proceeds from this annual holiday event allow us to fund and execute our “Four For The Future” programs: Mentoring, Education, Health And Wellness, and Economic Empowerment. Your generosity has helped us to award over $1,700,000 in scholarships and grants to over 750 Bay Area students.
