In addition to our Four For The Future(TM) signature programs of Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment, 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc., a GuideStar Gold 501(3)(c) non-profit, has responsively launched the 100Cares Initiative and have partnered with the City of Oakland, our faith-based community leaders, Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, Act Full Gospel, Community Church, and Beebe Memorial as well as other community organizations such as OAACC, NAACP, BWOPA, and the East Oakland Black Cultural Zone to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within the unhoused population, and address food insecurities citywide. In addition, your support will go towards offering rental assistance to those facing eviction due to the effects of the pandemic.
Since the inception of our Scholarship Program in 1992, we have awarded $1,600,000 to more than 700 Bay Area students. This year we are investing over $100,000 towards our scholars’ post-secondary achievement. Our Scholarship Program is thriving and continues to receive local and national attention and your steadfast support is key to our success.
