I graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I got inspired by the buildings that I saw in Athens and Paris while on a trip as part of 100 Black Men of the Bay Area's track team. Now I’m ready to take on the world.
For over 30 years, the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area has been providing critical services for the African-American community in the San Francisco Bay Area. From scholarships, youth mentorship programs, to sponsorships of critical health and wellness initiatives, the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing residents with the resources and support necessary to thrive.
There are a great number of quality of life issues that impact our region, including homelessness, illegal dumping and an overall lack of resources for African American older adults and their families. I am proud to partner with 100 Black Men of the Bay Area and members of our shared community to address some of these issues and I value our continued partnership.
100 Black Men of the Bay Area’s leadership and resources provide youth the opportunity to improve their communities through academic and professional skills development while empowering these youth to reach their personal and professional goals.
100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc. has an exceptional history of helping our young people reach their highest potential by offering them scholarship awards, youth mentorship, economic and leadership development, and health and wellness programs. I commend all of you for your tireless commitment to mentoring at-risk youth on how to succeed.
