Welcome to the official website of 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc. (“100 Black Men,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website located at https://100blackmenba.org (the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to access and use the Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old or are using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

As part of our services, we may occasionally (no more than two times per month) send you communications, including, but not limited to, updates about events, newsletters, and messages. By providing your contact information (including mobile phone number) on the Site, you consent to receive communications from us, which may include text messages. These communications may be sent via automated systems or manually. By consenting, you understand that standard messaging rates may apply.
5. Compliance with 10DLC and Campaign Registry
We comply with the 10DLC regulations under the Campaign Registry for sending text messages and promotional communications. By submitting your phone number to us for communications, you consent to receive messages in accordance with the Campaign Registry and acknowledge the following:
- You have provided accurate and truthful information regarding your mobile phone number.
- You understand that text messaging may include marketing and promotional content.
- You have the right to opt-out of receiving messages at any time by responding “STOP” by text or emailing info@100blackmenba.org with your written request.
6. Opt-Out Instructions
If you no longer wish to receive text messages from 100 Black Men, you can opt out at any time. To opt-out, simply reply to any of our messages with the word “STOP” or contact us by email at info@100blackmenba.org with your written request.
Once you opt-out, you will no longer receive text messages from us, unless you provide your consent again in the future.

7. Intellectual Property
All content available on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, videos, and graphics, is the property of 100 Black Men or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content from the Site without prior written permission from us.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any local, state, or federal law or regulation.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site or any server or network connected to the Site.
- Use any data mining, robots, or other automated methods to access the Site.
- Engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or harassing conduct.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Site will be free from errors or interruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 100 Black Men shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in Alameda County, CA, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
